Authentic Content System.

How to get original ideas & write authentic content (5 Step System).

Estimated Reading Time: 7-10 minutes

“The ability to earn with your mind, not your time, labor, or looks, is how you become in control of what you do and how much you make.

People want to follow humans, not a search engine with a face.

With the rise of Chat GPT…

Authenticity is more important than ever.

I don't think we have reached a point to conclude what or who it will specifically replace, but replacements are on the horizon.

I often receive questions such as:

  • What are writers/designers/developers going to do?

  • Are they going to be replaced by AI?

In short — here’s my take:

“If you think you are going to be replaced by AI, you will be”

For high-agency people — AI doesn’t seem to be a problem.

Is a liberating innovation as they can unleash their full potential as a deep generalist.

For low-agency individuals — This is oppressive.

As they themselves are tools that can be replaced.

The ability to earn with your mind, not your time, labor, or looks, is how you become in control of what you do and how much you make.

You need to up-skill yourself.

When talking in the sense of writing.

This up-skill comes mostly from authenticity”.

Using AI to 10x your output, but learning how to edit, generate authentic ideas & present those ideas to the world through your own perspective + persuasive writing.

You see — everyone is desperate for human connection.

Most creators are taking advantage of this by utilizing social media as their primary method for generating traffic.

But here’s the problem:

Most creators are simply copy/pasting other people’s work feeding into the never-ending cycle of re-hearse of ideas.

Or they are using AI to flood their accounts with cheap content & outsourcing their thinking in the process. And if most people are doing this = most content is the same.

Authenticity, from my perspective, will be the differentiating factor between those who get replaced & those who make the most money.

Authenticity (in content creation) is the diversification of unique interests, values & perspectives behind the writer.

Is your unique take on a topic:

  • Your perspective.

  • Your experience.

  • Your opinion.

Something with high supply…

When you visit the comments of any piece of content.

But low supply…

When it comes to the content itself.

Today I want to present to you the exact system I currently use to differentiate myself from 90% of creators & generate original ideas.

It’s called: Authentic Content System.

The system is divided into 4 steps:

  • Step 1: Make People Care About Your Work.

  • Step 2: Define Your Content Pillars.

  • Step 3: Develop Your Content Strategy.

  • Step 4: Write Persuasive Content.

With this framework, you will be able to:

  • How to generate authentic ideas.

  • How to present those ideas with persuasive writing.

  • And how to use social media as your primary method to generate traffic.

That being said, let's dive in:

Warning: This is a very long framework. I recommend sitting down, getting rid of all distractions, and fully focusing on understanding the following key principles.

I’m giving all of this information for free…

So you don't need to pay thousands of dollars for coaching, courses, or digital products.

Step 1: Make People Care About Your Work.

When anyone can create anything…

Getting people to “care” becomes the problem.

Most creators think that their content is not interesting.

But the reality is…

They don't know how to make it interesting to other people.

It's less about what you create…

And more about how you create it.

You need to learn how to write a persuasive & compelling argument.

As we discussed in the last article:

Growth isn’t random.

It’s built on mechanics:

- Certain formats perform.

- Certain hooks always hit.

- Certain strategies always work.

- Certain systems turn posts into profit.

Here’s how to get started:

  • Practice writing and persuasion.

  • Research best-performing hooks & formats.

  • Use a calendar to establish a consistent schedule.

  • Identify an ideal outcome & write content on how to reach it.

Absorb information, study how good content looks like — emulate the formats, formulas & structures for your own content.

That being said…

Before learning how to write persuasive copy…

First — we need to define the topics that you will write about.

We need to define your Content Pillars.

Step 2: Define Your Content Pillars.

Here’s the big question:

How do you “actually” write authentic content?

The process is very simple.

In short — there are 2 principles at play:

  1. You speak about your content topics.

  2. You present your experience & perspective on those topics.

I discuss business, content, writing, entrepreneurship, personal branding, systems, funnels, and other topics—similar to diversifying a stock portfolio.

If one area underperforms, you are not entirely affected.

A major problem for a lot of creators is incorporating their content topics in a way that is engaging and maintains your brand pillars.

You need to ensure that while your content is interesting, it also supports your brand, allowing you to generate income and potentially work full-time.

Here’s the thing that most people get wrong.

→ Your content attracts an audience.

→ Your brand captures the target.

→ Your offer/promotion/CTAs attracts the leads.

→ Your product captures the target in those leads.

Target = Content + Brand.

Niche = Target + Product.

Meaning:

Your content does not necessarily have something to do with your product.

Please — before moving forward — eliminate/erase/destroy this belief from your mind.

I know creators with 50k–100k followers posting about health, science, or self-development — even though their products have nothing to do with their content.

They may be posting about psychology…

But they are making money selling content templates.

Getting & converting traffic are 2 completely different skills.

Today we are focusing on getting traffic.

That being said…

Start by choosing 2 to 3 broad content topics.

Avoid hyper-specific topics like:

"bio-mechanical movement for holistic health”.

This will only limit your reach.

Instead — use broad topics to reach big markets.

For instance:

  • Weightlifting ties into "health" or "bodybuilding."

  • Marketing connects to "business" or "entrepreneurship."

  • Philosophy links to "self-improvement" or "self-actualization."

These broad topics serve as umbrellas.

Offering flexibility to explore multiple subtopics while maintaining consistency.

Broad topics are your Content Pillars

And your sub-topics are tools of diversification.

Think of your Content Pillars as industry sectors or ETFs…

And sub-topics as individual stocks.

Here’s how to define your “Content Pillars”

They need to fall under the following categories:

  • Money-Making topic:

One that has the potential to make you money — like a marketable skill, coaching offer, or anything that you have seen others talking about as the best way to generate money.

  • Passion topic:

One that excites you when it is brought up in conversation — this hints at passion and obsession which will transfer into the culture of your audience.

  • Self-Development topic:

One that focuses on self-development — this will prepare your audience to consume your stuff with the right mindset in place.

This structured approach forms a topic umbrella, ensuring you have a steady flow of content ideas for 6–12 months.

The next step is to diversify your portfolio & develop a list of sub-topics.

Here’s an example:

Money-Making Topic:

Online Business.

  • Self-employment.

    • Productivity.

    • Focused work.

    • Creating your niche.

  • Client acquisition.

    • How to DM.

    • Qualifying.

    • Service onboarding.

  • Social media growth.

    • Writing newsletters.

    • Writing threads.

    • The best types of content.

  • Digital product creation.

    • Marketing and offers.

    • Launch strategy.

    • Best platforms to build on.

You can go deeper and break down each subtopic further—but this level of specificity is usually more than enough.

Remember:

Subtopics are flexible.

They can be changed — at any time — if they’re not working.

But your content pillars should always stay the same.

Now — the next question is:

  • How do I use these content pillars to write my content?

  • How do I get the most leverage from my work?

  • What topics should I post?

That is what your Content Strategy is for.

Step 3: Develop Your Content Strategy.

The biggest mistake new creators make is posting randomly and expecting consistent results.

Content without strategy is just noise.

You don’t grow by posting whatever you want.

You grow by creating a system around your content.

A system that makes your output:

  • Intentional

  • Repeatable

  • Scalable

That system starts with a simple principle:

Top-down content creation.

You create one big idea at the top…

Then break it down into smaller, platform-ready pieces.

Develop a Content Ecosystem:

  • Choose 1 money making sub-topic.

  • Write about a problem in that topic.

  • Provide a step-by-step solution.

  • Incorporate your passion & self-development pillars.

Here’s how it works:

1. Long-Form (Foundational)

This is your main piece of content every week.

Examples:

  • Newsletter

  • YouTube Video

  • Podcast Episode

This is where you present your ideas in depth.

Goal: Build authority and develop high-leverage thinking.

2. Medium-Form (Distribution)

Take that long-form idea and translate it into shareable formats.

Examples:

  • Twitter threads

  • LinkedIn posts

  • Instagram carousels

  • Blog articles

This is where you extend the idea to meet people where they are.

Goal: Build reach and reinforce positioning.

3. Short-Form (Amplification)

Break down medium-form content into micro-posts.

Examples:

  • Tweets

  • Reels

  • TikTok

  • YouTube Shorts

This is where you grab attention fast.

Hooks, one-liners, bold claims, common struggles, quick wins.

Goal: Capture attention and funnel it back to long-form.

This turns one idea → into 10+ pieces of content

If something works — don’t post it once.

Turn it into a system:

  • One tweet → becomes a thread.

  • The thread → becomes a carousel.

  • The carousel → becomes a short-form video.

  • The video → links back to the original newsletter.

Great creators aren’t just creative.

They’re repeatable.

They know one viral idea can build their brand for months if they squeeze the juice out of it.

This is how you scale without burning out.

That being said…

Writing content isn’t enough.

Remember:

You need to write content while making a persuasive & compelling argument.

You need to hook the reader…

And hold their attention long enough so they can engage with your stuff.

That is what we will learn next.

Step 4: Write Persuasive Content.

Once you’ve built a system around your topics and content ecosystem…

Now it’s time to make people stop scrolling.

Content without persuasion is ignored.

Your job as a creator is to get attention.

That requires a new skill:

Persuasive Writing.

In short —you need to master copywriting.

Every post should persuade the reader to:

  • Take action.

  • Think differently.

  • Or follow your account.

Here’s how to do it:

Every piece of content…

Long or short — should follow this simple structure:

1. The Hook

Stop the scroll with:

  • A bold claim.

  • A sharp observation.

  • A strong emotional insight.

2. The Body

Deliver value through:

  • Actionable steps.

  • Relatable examples.

  • Strong beliefs or frameworks.

3. The Close

Reinforce the message:

  • Give a final insight.

  • Or offer a simple takeaway.

It doesn’t matter whether you’re writing a 280-character tweet or a 1,000-word newsletter — the structure stays the same.

That being said…

First, we have the structure.

Second — we have content formats.

A specific way to organize the content to increase engagement.

Here are some proven short-form post formats to get started:

1. Problem → Solution

This is the fastest way to create trust.

You’re not growing online because:

– No one sees your stuff

– You’re not consistent

– You’re not social

Here’s what to do:

– Network 30 mins/day

– Post 3x/day

– Solve real problems

Use this to diagnose common pain points and position yourself as the solution.

2. Importance of a Topic

Make people want to learn from you.

Marketing is the greatest skill you can learn.

Why?

- It pairs with any other skill

- It teaches you human phycology

- It helps you monetize a niche interest

Only a fool expects to make an income without learning the skill to get customers.

Use this when introducing new topics to your audience.

Show them why it matters.

3. Common Mistakes

Call out what people are doing wrong.

Your content sucks because you don’t:

- Hook in the reader.

- Agitate their problem

- Relate to their problem

- Give them a valuable solution

Human physiology will always beat what you think will work.

Clear, not clever.

Use this to increase credibility — and create the “aha” moment that builds trust.

Persuasive writing is a skill — and you only get better by writing more.

So start small. Write daily. Never stop improving.

Ultimate Action List.

If you forget everything in this article…

Follow this action list:

Define Your Content Pillars

  • Choose 2–3 broad topics: money-making, passion, and self-development.

  • Map 3–5 subtopics under each pillar for idea generation.

Develop Your Content Strategy

  • Create one long-form idea each week (newsletter, podcast, or video).

  • Break it into threads, carousels, or blog posts (medium-form).

  • Repurpose into tweets, reels, shorts, or captions (short-form).

Write Persuasive Content

  • Use the Hook → Body → Close structure in every post.

  • Pick 1 of 3 high-converting formats: problem/solution, importance, or mistake.

  • Track what works → repurpose top performers into new formats.
