Content Distribution System
How to turn 1 newsletter into 25 pieces of content for multiple channels.
Estimated Reading Time: (2-5 minutes)
Building a personal brand and building an audience is crucial for hitting both your business and revenue goals.
You often hear the following:
You NEED to post engaging stuff
Every day
On various platforms
Constantly to get noticed.
(and anyone telling you otherwise was either lucky or not telling the truth)
Ironically…
The main reason why we build a personal brand
Is to discover the freedom to be anywhere, anytime, without relying on external approval or authority.”
To expand our surface of opportunities and create a reputation around our work and our expertise.
And to help others rise within the process.
For the entrepreneur, it is our way to create the freedom to disconnect and spend more time to exploring our passions or connecting with loved ones.
But here's the deal: relying solely on willpower for this content marathon isn't gonna cut it.
Best-case scenario, you end up posting sporadically, and that's not gonna help your personal brand grow.
The worst-case scenario, is you burn out, and even thinking about crafting a tweet feels overwhelming.
So, how do you keep up with the constant content demand without slaving yourself to the constant daily grind?
The answer lies in implementing a system that maximizes output while minimizing effort.
I call it the Content Distribution System.
And it transforms the grind of creating daily content creation into an easy-to-manage process.
But just because it simplifies your process, doesn't mean your content will be any less potent.
I grew by 1,400 new followers in only 3 months as a beginner by leveraging this exact system
And in today's newsletter, I'm going to share this powerful system with you.
With this system, you will be able to:
Develop a consistent voice across multiple platforms.
Develop a 90-day backlog and stop the constant grind.
Leverage your content creation and start growing your audience FAST - without losing hours of your life in content creation
That being said, let’s dive in:
Warning: This is a very long framework, I recommend sitting down, getting rid of all distractions, and fully focusing on understanding the key principles of what makes a content creation system.
This is all you need to know about Content Distribution - the ultimate resource!
I’m giving all of this information for free…
So you don't need to pay thousands of dollars for coaching, courses, or digital products.
The Content Distribution System
The foundation of the Content Waterfall System lies in creating a pillar piece of content.
The pillar piece of content is the source information for all other pieces of content.
This pillar piece of content fuels the production of smaller, bite-sized pieces of content that can be shared across various platforms.
You first start with a long-form piece of content.
Then each major point will become its own post.
Each content piece is a valuable standalone offering, but they all stem from that original pillar content.
Now that you have an idea of the overall system.
Let's break down the process a bit more...
Determine Content Formats & Categories
To use the Content Distribution System to its full potential -
You have to nail down your content categories and content formats.
Too many founders start posting BEFORE honing in on their ideal audience, and determining what type of content they’re going to post.
The only efficient way to distribute your message is to keep a consistent feel and voice across multiple platforms.
Without continuity in your messaging, it doesn’t matter how much you post across channels, you still won’t grow.
Categories keep you from going off track and help people know what advice you deliver consistently.
If you try to help everyone, you will end up helping no one.
Talk about what you are best at.
Where do you shine the most?
On what are you an expert?
For example, I write about:
Marketing
Audience Building
Copywriting
Sales Funnels
In addition to picking content categories, you also want to pick a few content formats that you rotate between.
These formats are important because they help build brand consistency and normalize how you deliver value.
Select a few from the following list:
How-To Guides
Lists
Interviews
Actionable Tips
Personal Stories
Opinions Or Breakdowns Of Existing Content
Deep Dives
Frameworks
Step-By-Step
For example — Here is a simple (proven-to-work) Twitter post format:
Most people do [error = no result]
This is how [do it correctly]

Point 3

The 90-Day Backlog
Once you've locked in your content categories and formats, the next step is to generate 90 days of content ideas.
Yes, you heard me right.
Let’s do the math.
Weekly Breakdown:
1 blog post
1 newsletter
5 LinkedIn Carousels
5 LinkedIn Written Posts
5 Twitter Threads
10 Singular Tweets
Thread posts are the same ones as Twitter.
Do that every single week for 90 days
90 days are 12 weeks
That becomes:
12 blog posts
12 newsletters
60 LinkedIn Carousels
60 LinkedIn Written Posts
60 Twitter Threads
120 Singular Tweets
By doing this exercise you realize how much work it actually takes to build a personal brand.
You don’t want to be waking up each day trying to figure out what you’re going to post.
Plan your months in advance so you can have crystal clear clarity on your session of content creation.
My newsletter serves as the foundation for my entire content strategy.
Not only is it an excellent way to connect and convert with my subscribers - It's a great starting point because the content is already organized into manageable sections.
Because it is a long-form piece.
Each section of the post becomes a piece of itself.
These individual sections can then be easily repurposed into various content forms.
Here’s my current Content Distribution
1 Newsletter becomes:
1 Blog Post
5 LinkedIn Carousels
5 LinkedIn Written Posts
10 single Tweets
5 Threads
Within just a 3-hour work session, I can lay down the foundation for a solid 26 pieces of engaging content. That's essentially 5 to 7 days' worth of content.
So, in less than half a day, I've already got the groundwork for over a week's worth of content, primed and ready to roll out across various platforms.
This approach is the secret sauce for maintaining a strong presence across all social media channels.
And let me tell you, it's precisely why sticking to a consistent content strategy is so essential...
Because it ensures that a consistent message is delivered across all platforms, allowing themes and messages to truly resonate with our audience.
Content Automation
Now the ability to repurpose content seamlessly is a huge perk of the Content Distribution System...
But the true beauty of this system is the ability to grow on autopilot.
I use the tool Hypefury to schedule all my threads and single tweets in advance.
I use Taplio to schedule my LinkedIn Carousels and Posts.
I use Typeshare for my templates
I use Notion for my Content Creation System:
Posts Archives
Content Vault
90-Day Backlog
Marketing Planner
I also have created a LinkedIn, Twitter & Threads Content System with templates, copywriting formats, and creative design for LinkedIn.
This allows me to take my newsletter posts and turn them into the content that’s uploaded to the other platforms.
When it comes to posting on these other channels, I'm essentially on autopilot.
Yet, the content's excellence is a given because it originates from one overall single idea.
By harnessing this system, you can almost entirely distance yourself from the content creation process while ensuring everything stays aligned with your brand and maintains top-notch quality.
The Content Distribution System drives growth for my brand.
Thanks to it, I can keep pumping out content consistently, every single day.
