  • And how to build a network of other creators in your space.

In all my newsletter I always present the next natural problem that you will encounter.

But today, I want to dive deep into warm outreach.

This week I am going to reveal…

A secret system that helped me kick-start my agency and get my first 5 high-ticket clients as a complete beginner.

I call it The Warm Outreach System.

With this strategy, you will be able to:

  • Build a new source of revenue.

  • Get more clients and sales you can handle.

  • And build a complete acquisition channel with 0$ out of your pocket.

That being said, let's dive in:

Warning: This is a very long framework, I recommend sitting down, getting rid of all distractions, and fully focusing on understanding the key principles of what makes a content creation system.

This is all you need to know about Outreach - the ultimate resource!

I’m giving all of this information for free…

So you don't need to pay thousands of dollars for coaching, courses, or digital products.

Introduction

You need to let people know about the stuff you sell.

Especially when starting out.

With no money out of pocket.

Just time & effort.

This is the "work your way in".

(This framework is inspired by 100M Leads by Alex Hormozi)

During the early stages of my career…

I pretty much followed the same path as the one outlined in the book.

And now I want to share this knowledge with you with my own personal experiences

Step 1: Get Leads

"But I don't have a list"

Yes you do, I will show how you have a list of around 1,000 people without you ever knowing it.

List #1 Email

  • Go to your Email Account

  • Pull all the accounts you ever messaged or emailed.

  • That becomes list #1

List #2 Social Media

  • Go to every social media profile where you can DM or message.

  • Write down every single follower.

  • That is list #2

List #3: Personal Contacts.

  • Pull out your phone

  • Export all of your contacts.

  • Exclude people like family and very close friends.

  • That becomes list #3

Conclusion:

  • List 1 is all of your email contacts

  • List 2 is all of your social media contacts

  • And list 3 is all of your personal contacts.

  • Add all of them together.

You should, at least, have around 1000 people to reach out to.

Step 2: Pick a Platform.

But wait, do I need to reach out to these people?

Slow down -- Not yet.

Stay with me.

  • Choose the platform where you have the most contacts.

  • Start there.

Step 3: Personalize your Message

Use something you already know about the person.

  • Take 30 seconds to see the person's profile.

  • See what you have in common.

  • Start the conversation with that.

Message Examples:

  • Hey I saw you started a new business

  • Hey, I saw you are playing soccer now.

  • Hey I saw you came to Miami

  • Etc.

You need to show, that at least, you took the time to research them.

People need to feel that they are not a number on a screen.

Just be a human and have a conversation.

Step 4: Reach Out.

You are going to reach out to 100 people...

  • Every

  • Single

  • Day

  • No exceptions.

Do that until you either are a millionaire or you burned the hell out of your list.

Step 5: Warm them Up.

Use the ACA framework:

Acknowledge:

(Oh, so you have 2 kids)

Compliment:

(Wow you must be a supermodel, you are doing that + working full-time?)

Ask:

( I wanted to ask you, how do you have time to do XYZ when you have 2 kids?

It doesn't matter what you sell.

Acknowledge something they say to you.

Compliment them about it.

And then you make a question tied to that.

Step 6: Ask for Referrals

The crazy part of this strategy is that you are NOT selling them.

You are selling their friends

"Hey btw, do you know anybody that will benefit from XYZ"

The reason why this is so powerful.

Is because of 2 reasons:

  • They already know who you are

  • You are asking for a favor, not a sale.

Quick Action List

  • Pay Attention.

  • Listen.

  • Compliment them.

  • Ask based on curiosity.

  • Ask if they know anybody.

But...

What happens if they say they want to find out more?

We go into the next step.

Step 7: Make an Offer

Once someone shows interest...

They transitioned from a lead to an engaged lead.

Now is the time to present an offer so good they can't say no.

In short — You are gonna make it FREE.

Wait what?

Let me explain.

At this stage, no one trusts you.

And the only way to change that is with proof.

Your goal?

Build case studies and get testimonials.

Timeless Formulas:

Here is a 5 message script that you can use to start closing deals:

Message 1: (ASK)

Btw, do you know anybody that (describe their struggle) looking to (dream outcome) in (Time Delay)

I am taking 5 case studies for free because that is all I can handle.

Message 2: (Justify)

I just want to get some testimonials for my product/service

I help them (dream outcome) without (Effort/sacrifice).

Message 3: (Provide Security)

I even guarantee that people will get (dream outcome m) or I work with them until they do.

Message 4: (Provide Proof)

I just got a girl (x) to work with me to get (dream outcome) even thou she (describe their struggle).

I also got a guy who got (dream outcome) and it was his first time.

Message 5: (Wrap it up)

I would love to get more testimonials to see how it works across different scenarios.

Is anyone you like come to mind?

Step 8: Establish the Rules of Engagement.

This is the reason why we do it for free.

You are gonna tell the person:

Hey Im going to do this for free, but I need 3 things:

  • Use my product/service

  • Give me feedback.

  • Give me a review/testimonial.

Those are the terms of exchange.

Step 9: Be aware of the Hidden Costs.

Hidden costs…

Are all the costs besides money.

  • Time

  • Effort

  • Sacrifice

  • Risk

Because it is your first time doing this...

You suck. And that is okay.

Work for free, get good, polish your skills, and get proof.

THEN, you can start charging.

If someone doesn't want to work with you (for free)

There are hidden costs that you need to solve.

Step 10: Reduce your discount.

Now that you have 5 clients.

Now is the time to start charging.

You will repeat the cycle but instead of saying for free you say 80% off.

Get 5 clients, get case studies, reduce to 60% off, repeat.

Client, case study, 40%, repeat.

You keep repeating this cycle, EVEN after reaching the full price.

That means 20, 30, or even 50% premium.

Remember, there is no ceiling.

It is completely okay to charge $40,000 for a logo.

The more proof you have the more you can charge.

Step 11: Level up

Start adding more products

Be more expensive

Add complexity

Build a sales funnel

Get 1% better every day.

Step 12: Common Factor Analysis

Now that you know exactly what works and what doesn't.

Now is the time to actually reach out to people OUTSIDE of your circle.

Grab a list of all the people that purchased…

And do deep market research on them.

  • What do they all have in common?

  • What are their demographics and psychographics?

  • Build an Ideal Customer Persona (ICP)

Then, we are going to find that persona in the market.

Step 13: Find Cold Leads.

I'm not gonna dive deep into this since that will make this article twice as long.

But, the easiest platforms to find leads(in my opinion) are Apollo.io and Linkedin Sales Navigator.

After you have a detailed ICP…

Now you can use that information:

  • Provide the info to the platform

  • Use the search functions and filters

  • And get a list of thousands of potential customers.

Ultimate Action List

  1. Get Leads:

    • Utilize your email contacts, social media contacts, and personal contacts to create three separate lists.

    • Combine all the lists to have around 1,000 people to reach out to.

  2. Pick a Platform:

    • Choose the platform where you have the most contacts.

    • Begin your outreach efforts there.

  3. Personalize your Message:

    • Spend 30 seconds researching each person's profile.

    • Find commonalities and use them to start a conversation.

  4. Reach Out:

    • Make it a goal to reach out to 100 people every day.

    • Be consistent.

  5. Warm them Up:

    • Use the ACA framework (Acknowledge, Compliment, Ask) to engage with your leads.

    • Show genuine interest in their lives and challenges.

  6. Ask for Referrals:

    • Instead of selling directly, ask your leads if they know anyone who would benefit from your product or service.

    • Leverage the power of personal connections.

  7. Make an Offer:

    • Once someone shows interest, transition from a lead to an engaged lead.

    • Offer your service for free (at the beginning) to build trust and get case studies.

  8. Establish the Rules of Engagement:

    • Clearly communicate your expectations to those who accept your offer.

    • Define the terms of exchange, such as using your product or service, providing feedback, and giving a review or testimonial.

  9. Be aware of the Hidden Costs:

    • Recognize that there are costs besides monetary ones, such as time, effort, sacrifice, and risk.

    • Understand that as a beginner, you may need to work for free initially to gain experience and proof.

  10. Reduce your discount:

    • As you gain clients and build case studies, gradually reduce the discount of your offer.

    • Repeat the cycle, adjusting the discount percentage until you reach your full price.

  11. Level up:

    • Expand your offerings, increase your prices, and add complexity to your business.

    • Continuously improve and strive for growth.

  12. Common Factor Analysis:

    • Analyze your existing customers and identify common traits and characteristics.

    • Build an Ideal Customer Persona (ICP) using demographics and psychographics.

  13. Find Cold Leads:

    • Utilize platforms like Apollo.io and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to find leads.
