The 90-Day Viral Library
How to develop a 90-Day Content Backlog that performs every single time.
Estimated Reading Time: (2-5 minutes)
Building your audience & personal brand is essential to hit your business goals.
Most creators will tell you the following:
You NEED to post stuff
Every single day
On various platforms
To constantly to get noticed.
What they don’t tell you…
Is the required systems to make it possible.
Posting content on every platform is extremely time consuming.
For someone starting out…
This seems like an impossible task to tackle.
You simply don’t want to spend every waking hour of your time to build a personal brand.
Ironically — The main reason why we build a personal brand…
Is to build the freedom to do what we love with no external force affecting our actions.
To expand our surface of opportunities and create a reputation around our work.
To manifest freedom into our life.
But here's the deal:
Relying solely on willpower for this content marathon isn't gonna cut it.
Best-case scenario:
You end up posting sporadically & that's not gonna help you grow.
Worst-case scenario:
You burn out & quit.
So, how do you keep up with the content grind without slaving yourself?
The answer lies on building a library of foundational content, that you can use to predictably grow your audience & personal brand.
I call it The 90-Day Viral Library.
With this system, you will be able to:
Develop a consistent voice across multiple platforms.
Develop a 90-day backlog and stop the constant grind.
Leverage your content creation & grow your audience FAST.
That being said, let’s dive in:
The Content Distribution System
The first step to build a 90 day content library is using the Content Distribution System.
To keep things short…
The system explains how to develop a core piece of content (newsletter) & then break it down into smaller, bit-sized, pieces of content.
These smaller pieces content are then shared into all platforms…
Making your content feel like is part of a bigger story.
Every time you use the system you develop:
1 Newsletter
5 carousels
5 long posts
15 small posts
Do this first:
The math behind a 90-Day Content Library
Let’s see how much content we need to build our library.
Avg. Content Volume of Creators:
21 small post x week
1 newsletter x week
5 carousels x week
5 long posts x week.
This is what need to cover 90 days:
12 Newsletters
60 Carousels
252 Short Posts
60 Long Posts
Just building 1 newsletter takes me 1 hour.
That is without the content to promote it.
The design for the thumbnail
The prep work before writing.
This takes a ton of high-level work.
That’s why most people don’t have one.
Don’t try to rush it.
Go 1 step at a time:
First start by building your newsletter.
Then post 1 article consistently every week.
Then repurpose your content for other platforms.
Realistically…
Everything should take you around 4-6 months of posting.
Once you have your content library…
Is time to put it on steroids & 10x your audience growth.
Not everything in your library is going to be GOOD content.
We want to get rid of the junk.
Think of it as a ‘clean up’.
The idea is to have a library of content that goes viral every single time.
The more times you clean up the library…
The better the content gets.
The better the content gets…
The better results it yields.
Here’s how to do it:
Avg. Metrics
What gets tracked, gets improved.
You need to know your numbers.
What are your avg. likes per post?
How many comments do you get?
How many reposts?
Your avg. reach?
For example, these are my metrics:
Avg Reach: 1k views
Avg Likes: 20 likes
Avg. Replies: 5 replies
Avg. Reposts: 10 reposts.
Here’s how to get them:
(this should take around 1 hour)
Look at every single post of your library
Check the analytics.
Get the grand total of only 1 metric.
Divide result by # of posts.
That is your avg. of that specific metric.
Once you know your numbers…
Now is time to use them as a benchmark.
The Clean Up
Let’s keep it short…
Eliminate anything below avg.
Unless you believe the post deserves more love…
Or is packed with value but people didn’t engage.
Eliminate everything that doesn’t reach the bar.
Content Improvement
Take the content that is at or above avg.
Develop 2 versions.
The first post, keep as it is (original)
The second, develop a new post.
70% of your focus is on the hook.
20% is on the body.
10% is the closing line.
Example:
Making the second version.
Follow these rules if you’re on social media:
Enjoyed a post? — Like It.
Really enjoyed a post? — Reply
Love it? — DM the author.
Don’t like it? — Ignore.
Never be mean or negative.
Most people don’t follow do these…
Make sure to make the difference.
Write content
Save on library
Look at avg. metrics monthly
Delete those that doesn't make the cut
Develop a second version for those that do.
Keep improving until having a 90-Day Viral Library
