How to monetize your owned audience, present offers & stack upsells.

To illustrate my point…
Most companies in 2023, spend $10-$20-$50 or even $100 for only 1 lead.
And those are for un-interested leads…
Usually captured through advertisement and outbound strategies.
The leads of your email list are 100x more powerful.
And I will teach you how to tap into that power.
Today I want to show you how to monetize your list, without being salesy, and losing the goodwill of your audience.
This is the art of:
Providing free value
Getting subscribers
Presenting offer
And scaling with upsells
I call it The Audience Monetization Framework
That being said, let's dive in:
Warning: This is a very long framework, I recommend sitting down, getting rid of all distractions, and fully focusing on understanding the key principles of Audience Monetization.

The first step of the process is to capture attention.
Go to a social platform and make yourself known:
Post content
Share your work
Tell compelling stories
Network with like-minded people

Use a Lead Magnet
They need to have a reason to give you their contact details
Offer something valuable in exchange for it.
How do I know what to give?
Follow this step-by-step:
Focus on the main problem you solve
Break it down into multiple milestones
Develop something that will help them get to milestone 1.

The Value Ladder
Before we get into presenting offers…
I want to explain the concept of the Value Ladder by Russell Brunson in Dotcom Secrets
The Value Ladder…
Is a series of ascending offers that progressively increase in price and sophistication.
That means you have multiple levels of service that you can offer.
The longer a client stays with you…
The more money they have the “opportunity” to spend.
Here is an example of how it works:
Level 1: Free Offer (Tripwire):
Goal: Get people interested.
Example: Offer a simple lead magnet.
Price: Free
Level 2: Low-Tier Product (Info-Product):
Goal: Provide value and solve a milestone problem.
Example: Digital Product solving multiple milestones
Price: $0 - $100
Level 3: Main Offer (Core Offer):
Goal: Offer your main service that solves a complete problem.
Example: Sales Funnel Development.
Price: $100 - $5000.
Level 4: Upsell (Add-On):
Goal: Increase TCV (Total-Cart Value)
Example: Advertisement Campaign Add-On
Price: It depends.
Level 5: High-End Product/Service (High-Ticket Offer):
Goal: Provide top-tier, personalized value.
Example: Exclusive coaching or advanced training programs.
Price: $5000 - $50,000.
Presenting Your Offers
How do I present an offer…
With being solely or losing the goodwill of my audience?
Simple:
You present a problem
You explain how to solve it
And then you offer to do it for them
That's it.
Example 1:
Go back to the first step of the article.
I tell you the first step to monetize your audience.
I then present a system (Lead Magnet) that explains how to solve it.
At the end of that lead magnet, there is a CTA to get into a conversation.
There is a similar CTA at the end of this email as well.
That is a 2 step value ladder.

There are two concepts in play for this system:
Give value in public and sell in private
Give away the secrets, sell the implementation.
Be creative…
There are a thousand ways to implement this.
